Apple Cinema Display
Connect an Xbox 360 to an Apple Cinema HD?
I have a 23-inch Apple Cinema HD Display and I wondered if I could connect my Xbox 360 it. Since the Xbox 360 VGA cable itself, and from there to plug the adapter that came with your computer (VGA, DisplayPort (DVI) Man) and then connect the incoming cable I bought a DVI-DVI (female-female), however, when you turn the Xbox console, the screen remains all black. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
It will not work, unfortunately. The Apple Cinema Display DVI port can not receive an analog VGA. Unable to connect to the Xbox in this way. What you can try is a DVI to HDMI. The HDMI port on your Xbox sends a digital signal DVI, which must be compatible with the DVI input of the cinema screen. I hope this help.
